The historic Labrot & Graham Distillery is unlike any other in America. Nestled amid the picturesque horse farms of Central Kentucky, Labrot & Graham is the only distillery that crafts its bourbon in copper pot stills and ages it in unique limestone warehouses. Whiskey was first produced on this site in 1812. And it was here that some of America's earliest distilling pioneers perfected their craft.

WhiskyMan.com Distillery Tour Review

Labrot & Graham Distillery -
Date visited - October 4 2003

Imagine witnessing first hand a working distillery built in 1812, nestled in picruresque Kentucky horse country, and you might still grasp for words to describe a visit to Labrot and Graham Distillery, home of Woodford Reserve.

Once we had overcome the awe inspired by this magnificent facility, we found the tour highly informative with good interaction with an extremely knowledgeable tour guide.

We highly recommend that you visit the facility where some of America's earliest distilling pioneers like Elijah Pepper, Oscar Pepper, and James Crow perfected their craft. The rich heritage of this distilling site is tangible and one is able to capture a sense of how great an influence Labrot & Graham had on the production of whiskey in America.
