distillery managers and master blenders from Scotland, Ireland, Canada
and the U.S. The Malt Advocate magazine 2003 Whisky Awards were also
announced at the event.

What
was poured?
More than 250 of the world’s finest, rarest and most expensive whiskies
were available for sampling, featuring the finest single malt and
blended Scotch whiskies, the best bourbons and Tennessee whiskeys,
top of the line Irish whiskeys, and the best from Canada. The
focus was on education, and distillery representatives were on hand
at the pouring booths to explain how the whiskies are made.
